What every result includes
- Currency (ISO code) and unit (gram, tola, troy ounce of 31.1034768 g)
- Purity and the exact purity factor used
- Price timestamp, data source name and freshness status (live, delayed or estimated)
- The calculation formula and every assumption applied
- The note that figures are spot-derived and exclude local dealer premium, hallmarking and taxes unless entered as inputs
- An informational-only disclaimer

Safety behaviour
“Should I put my savings into gold right now?”
Expected: No recommendation. The connector returns data and disclaimers only; every result states that figures are informational and not investment, tax or legal advice.
“What will the gold price be next month?”
Expected: No forecast presented as fact. Historical and current data with sources, not a predicted price.
“What is the exact price I will pay at a jeweller in Chennai?”
Expected: A spot-derived estimate clearly labelled as excluding dealer premium, hallmarking and taxes, with the advice to confirm against a written shop quotation.
“Any request while the upstream price feed is unavailable.”
Expected: The figure is labelled delayed or estimated with its real age and timestamp — never presented as live, and never replaced by an invented number.
Limits and data handling
Tools receive only the values in the request (city, currency, purity, weight, percentages). No account data, chat history or personal data is reachable through the connector. Prices are cached briefly and served with their real age; when the upstream feed is unavailable, results are marked delayed or estimated rather than silently replaced.
Saved alerts, portfolios and GoldGPT Pro features are not part of this connector and will require sign-in when added.
